Typology: red Grape variety: 100% Merlot Soil type: medium texture Altitude: 420m Training system: against espalier with Guyot pruning Year of planting of vines: 2003 Harvest period: first ten days of September, manual harvest Productivity: 60 quintals per hectare Vinification: maceration on the skins for 10-12 days Aging period: 8-10 months in French oak barrels of 225 l, then in steel tanks until bottling in July of the 2nd following year, further 6 months in bottle before distribution. Production: about 600 bottles
